Peaks To Points Festival

Peaks To Points Festival

Date: 14 - 29 July

Discover the beauty in greater Brisbane’s backyard at the Peaks to Points Festival. Experience amazing natural areas on your doorstep through free events and hands-on activities from Flinders Peak near Ipswich across the south side of the Brisbane River, to Moreton Bay. The festival brings together community and groups, businesses and government to celebrate greater Brisbane’s ‘wild side’. Through bush walks, canoeing, birdwatching, tree plantings, workshops, bus tours and lots of other great eco-activities you can learn more about their wonderful natural environment, and how they can protect and enhance it. The festival commences with Family Day presented by Brisbane MarketPlace at the Oxley Creek Common on Sunday 15 July from 10am to 4pm, featuring live entertainment, children’s activities, farm animals, canoeing, information displays and workshops plus a range of food and drinks. The Peaks to Points Festival is presented by the Oxley Creek Catchment Association and proudly supported by the Brisbane City Council.
