Queensland Explore Centre - Clontarf

Clontarf Visitor Information Centre

The Clontarf visitor centre located in Pelican Park, Clontarf is purpose built to allow visitors to comfortably find the local maps, visitor guides and brochures as well as plan their trip to our neighbouring regions. Each day at 10am the volunteers check the local flock of pelicans and educate the public on ways to keep them safe. Clontarf is the ideal starting point to explore the Redcliffe Peninsula either by bike or car. The volunteers have a wealth of local knowledge and are happy to share the stories of the region and its history as the site of the first European Settlement in Queensland. From history to arts and crafts, theatres and sports to adventure there is something for all ages.

Please note: The Queensland Explore Centre - Clontarf will be closed on Christmas Day and before 1pm on ANZAC Day

Opening Hours:

Mon - Sun: 9.00am – 4:30pm
